What is a .cue file?

application/x-cue

A CUE sheet is a plain-text description of tracks and index points within one or more audio files. FILE, TRACK, TITLE, PERFORMER, INDEX, and optional pregap directives describe how a continuous recording should be divided; INDEX times use minute:second:frame notation with 75 frames per second rather than video timecode.

How to use a .cue file

Use an example .cue file to test quoted filenames, multiple tracks, pregaps, metadata decoding, 75-fps index arithmetic, and validation that every referenced audio asset exists without attempting to execute or fetch anything.
